There is a wide range of options for travelling to Inverness, for the busy executive there is a choice of daily flights to Inverness from Luton Gatwick Bristol and many other airports. For those of you fortunate enough to travel at a more leisurely pace,  there is a choice of road routes, and rail services which can make the journey to Scotland a pleasurable part of the holiday. If you are travelling from the continent, there is the new Superfast ferry, direct to Scotland.

We are currently compiling a list of recommended stopover accommodation in the Borders and Southern Scotland, for those of you that prefer to break the journey into two days or more, or even for a week here and a week there as so many of you like to do. so if you know of a special stopover B&B or comfy cottage in the Borders area, we would be pleased to hear from you, but you must have stayed there yourself for us to consider your recommendation. 

Taking it one stage further we have frequently been asked to recommend West Coast accommodation and holiday cottages, mostly for those of you that like to have "a week here and a week there" so with quality and value for money foremost we have  taken the first step in producing a  "West Coast" recommended accommodation. So as above, if you have stayed in a super West coast cottage or B&B we would like to know about it. We now have a choice of cottages on the West coast
