Situated at Foyers, midway down the southern side of Loch Ness, this large self catering holiday home occupies an elevated position giving commanding views of Loch Ness. Entering the grounds of The Foyers, the spectacular view over Foyers Bay and across Loch Ness to the mountains opposite is jaw dropping, WOW!

Built in the 1800's Foyers Lodge is a large Victorian period country house offering spacious self catering accommodation and excellent facilities for large family party or groups.  On entering the grounds you will be stopped in your tracks by the spectacular and unique view down on to Foyers Bay and across the legendary Loch Ness to the mountains opposite. Inside, this quiet country house, formerly the Foyers hotel, has nine bedrooms, is centrally-heated, tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished.

Foyers is a walker's paradise with many miles of way-marked trails through woodland, hilltops and along the lochside. Trails suitable for all abilities and levels of fitness can be found nearby. Just a short walk from the accommodatiion is the 'Falls of Foyers', a breathtaking 100 foot high waterfall. Also within easy walking distance there are a couple of bars and restaurants and also a local shop, post office and café. Inverness, capital of the Highlands, is half an hour away by car, here can be found all the more sophisticated and organised activities that the holiday-maker might want - shops, theatre, cinemas, ice-rink, swimming pool, leisure and sports complex etc. A good place to spend a wet day!

There can be few places more romantic than Loch Ness for a fairy-tale wedding to be shared with family and friends. With the opportunity for breathtaking photographs overlooking Loch Ness and down the Great Glen. The property is licensed for civil marriages and can accommodate small weddings in the house or a marquee in the grounds for a larger celebration.

If you party exceeds 16 then a 3 further double bedrooms are available.  Please ask when booking if you require these rooms an additional charge of £650 would be required for the use of these bedrooms.

• Heating, bed linen and towels are included in the price. (Some duvets and pillows are feather filled)
• 1 pet welcome, although if you wish to bring extra this may be possible by prior arrangement
