Cnoc Eoghainn

Cnoc Eoghainn, Kinloch Rannoch - Perthshire

Cnoc Eoghainn, STB 3 star. Green Tourism silver award. Well presented self-catering cottage in friendly village setting. Sleeps 4. Sorry no pets.

Cnoc Eoghainn is a charming 18th century cottage on the historic Road to the Isles. A stone's throw away from beautiful Loch Rannoch, it has great views of the surrounding scenery while being located in a village setting with plenty of local amenities. This makes it ideal for an action-packed outdoor holiday, a week's nature-spotting or even just relaxing by the log fire!

Kinloch Rannoch is located in Highland Perthshire, 20 miles west of Pitlochry and just outwith the Cairngorm National Park; it has the same stunning mountain scenery, crystal clear lochs, ancient pine forests, walks and cycle routes as the Cairngorms, but with the advantage that you won’t meet a soul, only the wildlife! Perthshire is renowned for its trees – the world’s oldest tree is only a short drive away in Fortingall, while Rannoch is particularly splendid in the autumn, the hillsides ablaze with colour.

The cottage is a minute’s walk from the centre of Kinloch Rannoch, a compact village with amenities such as a grocery shop, café, hotels/bars, taxi services, car hire, a filling station and an outdoor activity centre. Comprehensive information on local businesses is provided in the fact sheet, sent once booking is confirmed.

Cnoc Eoghainn has been simply refurbished while retaining bags of quirky cottage charm and retro furnishings.
