Lovely cottage with beautiful views of the sea. A perfect location for getting away from it all. The cottage has everything you need. Chas and Jane the perfect hosts. Unobtrusive but there if you need them. We visited the Mull of Galloway, Logan botanical garden, the Galloway forest park and Portpatrick. All wonderful.

A very gorgeous place! It looked much more beautiful than on the pictures. We fell in love with the house and the bay. It is so comfortable and we didn't want to leave. We will not forget this week in Stoer.

This is an outstanding property with exceptional views. The house is so comfortable, spotlessly clean, really well furnished and equipped with everything you need. It was like a home from home but with better views! We had a fantastic holiday on this stunning island. Thank you so much to the friendly hosts.

Fantastic cottage so clean and comfortable and the shower is amazing. Kitchen is well equipped and the living room is comfortable with plenty of DVDs to watch. Excellent base for hillwalking and after a hard day in the hills the shower is even more welcome. Also a great base for non Hill walkers with Glencoe on your doorstep and Oban a short drive away. Lovely to watch the red squirrels and the birds in the garden and we were lucky enough to see a pine marten as well. Would highly recommend staying here and will certainly be back ourselves. Jacqui & Jeff are on hand if you need anything.

Arrivain Cottage

Arrivain Cottage is a delight. We stayed for 5 nights, as it is a great base to climb the numerous Munros in the area - the river crossing to Ben Lui is less than a 10 minute drive from the cottage. The exterior is really pretty, with a lovely seat by the stream to enjoy the birdsong and drink tea. The interior is restful, beautifully decorated and very comfortable - with high quality fittings and well equipped. Jacqui and Jeff are really welcoming, and as their home is next door, there's someone around if you need anything. The cottage has received 5 * reviews from everyone and deserves them. I would recommend the cottage to anyone who wants a lovely base to explore the area.

Plodda Falls Lodge

Just back after a wonderful week at Plodda Falls Lodge. A beautiful cottage in an enchanting, peaceful location with lots of varied walks nearby, great exploring options further afield and a safe, fully enclosed large garden for all to unwind in on returning from a day out and about. The Lodge is very comfortable and roomy and has all you could need for a self-catering holiday, with lots of books, games and DVDs if needed. Very welcoming and helpful host, Jenny, can provide as much info on the area as you might need and does so in a friendly, non-intrusive way.

This mountain-side cottage is truly one-of-a-kind, with no neighbors except the owners' lovely house just up a drive. The mountain views are exceptional, a mountain stream runs alongside the cottage-which is wonderful-well-supplied, modernized, very comfortable, great bathroom and walk-in shower-dual heads:)) Could not take enough photos and video while staying there for 1 week-just a stunning setting, cottage, grounds-rain or shine, it's worth every penny!

We had a wonderful stay at the Grain Store. It was modern, big and airy with amazing, sweeping views. It was lovely and warm and very well equipped, which was so useful to us since we had our baby with us. The owners were very friendly and even gave us a baby bath to use. Such a peaceful place from which to explore the Cairngorms national park.

A cottage with a Wow factor. The location is outstanding and the cottage is very very comfortable and homely. Views from the garden of the Cuillens are magical and one that you never get bored of. Take a boat trip from the jetty to the hidden Loch Coruisk for a great walk. The 40 minute drive from Broadford to the cottage on single track road, the views, the lambs, sheep and cattle wandering across in front of you have been etched in my memory. A lovely friendly community and we feel privileged to have stayed in this lovely cottage that has absolutely everything you need.

Kincardine Cottage

We loved our two-week stay at Kincardine cottage. The wildlife in the garden was fabulous - we were visited each evening by a badger, saw a pine marten, a hare hopped by the conservatory and deer were regular visitors, as well as all the wonderful birds. The cottage is remote enough that you feel away from it all, but access via car or bicycle to local villages is all very easy. You can mountain bike from the cottage to Loch Morlich and Glenmore without going on a road. The cottage was cosy and the conservatory was a lovely place to spend most of our time, particularly the evenings when much of the wildlife would emerge.

We've just had our second stay at Charleston, and it did not disappoint. A lovely home from home in the highlands. Everything you could possibly need is provided for your stay. A perfect location for spotting wildlife and birds, we saw black grouse on our first night, shy Roe deer near the garden, many nesting birds including wheatears, wagtails, cuckoos...at least three, plenty of red kites and a golden eagle to our delight. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. Cannot recommend this property highly enough.

Shellach Cottage

Fantastic location. Lovely cottage. Shellach Cottage is an ideal base for exploring this corner of the Scottish Highlands with the Isle of Skye less than an hour away by car. It was clean and airy and the perfect place to unwind and relax for our first holiday of the year. I would highly recommend it. Our two Cocker Spaniels thought they were in seventh heaven running and playing along the lochside which is just across the road from the cottage. Our 'only' criticism, and it is a very small one, was that the property was cold when we arrived. No heating had been set for when we took over the cottage at 4:00 pm. And although there were logs and coal for the fires no matches or lighter was available to light them. Despite the warm weather during the day, this part of the country cools down very quickly in the evenings in April.
