The Isle of Whithorn is one of Scotland’s most southerly villages on the Scottish mainland.  Number 7 Ninian’s Landing is a one bedroom stylish apartment located on the harbourside in the heart of the village and is the perfect location for a self-catering holiday for couples and their dog.

This modern first floor holiday apartment sleeps 2 people on one double bedroom and hotel quality bed linen and towels. The open-plan living, dining and kitchen overlooks the harbour with its yachts, seals and lots of seabirds. The comfortable lounge has a TV, Freesat, DVD, HIFI with Bluetooth and unlimited WIFI.

The modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for your self-catering holiday and there’s a dining table for 2 by the window. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over the bath and towels and bath mats are provided. The apartment has electric heating and hot water. There is an allocated private parking space at the back of the building.

Outside Ninian’s Landing there is the harbour where you can enjoy fishing, boat trips or take a lesson in sailing with Wigtown Bay Sailing Club.

The award winning Steampacket Inn is within yards of the doorstep and serves delicious lunchtime and evening meals with freshly caught seafood and local produce. The inn serves real ales and even has its own microbrewery.

St Ninian’s Tearoom is a short walk away and here you can buy essentials from the shop and enjoy breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea by the sea or dinner in the tearoom. You can even watch a movie whilst on holiday by visiting Scotland’s most southerly community cinema.

At the Isle of Whithorn you can discover the cairn, the ruins of St Ninian’s Chapel and the Isle of Whithorn Tower, which is a great place to sit and spot seals, dolphins or porpoises. From this headland there are spectacular sea views across the Scottish Coast, Lake District and the Isle of Man.

Scotland’s book town, Wigtown is only 13 miles north of the Isle of Whithorn. The Burrow Head Coastal Walk starts and end in the Isle of Whithorn via the coastal path with impressive views and cliffs. There are tourist information, maps and guide books at the property to help you plan your walks, days out and places to eat and drink. Number 7 Ninian’s Landing is the perfect choice for a holiday for 2 and the property is dog friendly.
