Glengarth is a luxury three-bedroom house built in 2018, and located at Farr in the picturesque Strathnairn Valley. The house is beautifully furnished and equipped to a high standard, sleeping six. The property offers spacious accommodation for a family or a group. Inverness, the Capital City of the Highlands, is six miles to the north and Aviemore, in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park, just 26 miles to the south.
The accommodation is all on the one level, the sitting room having comfortable sofas and a wood burner. Adjacent to the sitting room, a sun lounge provides views to the owners' Deer Park. The spacious kitchen is well equipped with all the usual appliances, a dining table, and seating for six. The property has three bedrooms; the master bedroom with views to the rear has a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room. The two other bedrooms are both twin rooms with views to the front. All the bedrooms are beautifully furnished, and quality bed linen is used throughout. Completing the facilities is a family bathroom, with a bath and shower over and a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Outside, the patio area has garden furniture, and a gas barbecue is provided. There is a lockable garden shed, and the garage/games room has a pool/snooker table and dart board, ideal for guests of all ages to entertain themselves.
Just 400 metres from Glengarth, there is the village shop, Inverarnie Stores, which is open every morning from 7.30am to 12 noon. Deliveries are also available from Asda and Tesco.
Within a few minutes walk, the owners have a Red Deer Park of approximately 10 acres. The red deer were sourced from a deer farm high up in the Cairngorm Mountains, and each year the hinds have produced their calves. This is an amazing place for guests to view the deer in their beautiful natural habitat.
This part of the Strathnairn Valley provides quiet country roads and open countryside. The South Loch Ness Trail is located not far away making it ideal for an outdoor holiday, no matter what your outdoor pursuit. The City of Inverness offers a range of facilities, including a wide selection of shops and restaurants, an art gallery and museum and Eden Court Theatre. Culloden Battlefield and Fort George can be found just a short distance from the City. The Caledonian Canal passes through Inverness, and from here, boat trips are available to Loch Ness with Jacobite Cruises.
Further afield, the location of Glengarth offers a perfect base for exploring, with the A9 north to the Northern Highlands and the West Coast and South to Aviemore and the Cairngorm National Park just a short distance away.
