Greenbrae East is a traditional cottage situated in the village of Muthill, just a short distance south of Crieff. On the ground floor this charming property has a lovely sitting room with a wood burner, a well equipped kitchen with views to the garden and a bathroom. On the upper level there are two bedrooms, a double and a twin, the double has views to the front and the twin views over the garden, a shower room completes the facilities on this level. One of the best features of the property is the garden, which offers various places to sit and relax and is enclosed making it ideal for pets.
Nestled in the leafy landscape of Perthshire the village of Muthill is an ideal base for a holiday, here you can spend the day on the green at the Muthill Golf Club or take a stroll through the ruins of the old church and cemetery. Within a short walk the award winning Barley Bree Restaurant, offers french inspired food using the finest locally sourced ingredients, together with a cocktail bar with open fire and also an outdoor seating area.
Perthshire is the land of adventure sports. Do It Outdoors offer sessions on archery, fishing and survivalist skills. Meanwhile, other activities include offroading, white water rafting and paintball, which can all be found within an hours drive. You can even go skydiving at Strathallan airfield, only a 5-minute drive from Muthilll.
Those looking for a more relaxing break can visit the luxurious spa and renowned golf course at Gleneagles. Alternatively, take a boat out on Lochearnhead from the quaint conservation village of St Fillans. A visit to the area is not complete without a trip to actor Ewan McGregor’s hometown of Crieff. Here you can find many attractions, including the Caithness Glass visitor centre and Glenturret distillery. Meanwhile, animal lovers will be delighted by the Auchingarroch Wildlife Centre, home to over 70 species.
Muthill is centrally located in Scotland, making it easy to visit rural and urban locations. Stirling is a 25-minute drive south, dominated by its castle, which sits above the city atop a large rocky hill. Meanwhile, to the east is Perth, a charming small city where you can visit Scone Palace and the Black Watch Castle. Meanwhile, the attractions of the larger cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh are only an hour away.

One dog is welcome at the property and the rear garden is enclosed, however if the breed of dog is small another one may be acceptable, please ask at the time of booking.
