Timber House, a self catering property with a difference. An eco-friendly house, larch clad and built to blend into the landscape of this beautiful environment, offers all the qualities of modern living. The house is warm and airy, the large windows give you the most fantastic views. You certainly would not want to miss out on views like these, on a clear day you can see Skye's most majestic peaks, the Cuillins.  There is no where on Skye that is to far for a day’s outing. Portree the ‘capital’ of Skye is about half an hour’s drive from the Timber house. Dunvegan castle and gardens are just a few miles and from here you can also take a boat trip and visit the seal islands and of course the wonderful coral beaches just north of Dunvegan.

The house is detached and has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a utility room and a large open plan ground floor with interconnecting kitchen, dining and living room areas. In addition to the stunning panoramic views across the loch from the open glazed areas, the house has a wood-burning stove to ensure the elements are always kept at bay. 

The Timber House is only a few minutes walk from the famous 'Three Chimneys' restaurant, arguably one of the finest restaurants in Scotland. The small hamlet of Glendale, 3 miles, also has a small licensed restaurant, village store and post office.
