Fearnag Lodge is a substantial, spacious and cosy log cabin. Built to a high standard, it has been thoughtfully designed to provide a quality guest experience, while also considering environmental impact. Ideal for those who want to get away from it all and relax, but also, as a base to visit the many tourist attractions the Scottish Highlands have to offer.
Fearnag Lodge comprises modern, comfortable, eco-friendly accommodation. Heated by ground source heat pump, solar water heating and a wood burning stove.
High speed wifi is included, which can support streaming and conference calls.
The veranda leads you into bright and spacious open-plan kitchen/dining/living area. The living area is equipped with a 43” smart TV with surround-sound, blue ray DVD player, iPod docking station and free wi-fi. The kitchen features solid granite worktops and is equipped with the usual modern appliances.
There are three bedrooms – one single, one twin and a master bedroom with king-size bed. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, cathedral-style ceiling, 32” Freesat TV (internet enabled) and direct access on to a generously sized balcony offering excellent views across farmland, woodland and the hills of Strathnairn.
The ground floor is wheelchair accessible, with widened doors, including the single bedroom. The shower room comprises of a large walk-in shower and has grab rails in the shower and beside the wc.
Peaceful location on a hill farm 9 miles (14km) south of Inverness and only a short distance from Loch Ness, Culloden Battlefield and the Cairngorms. Ideally located for walking, touring, mountain biking with tremendous opportunities to explore this fascinating part of Northern Scotland.
Some networks do not have good signal in the area. EE offers the best coverage, Vodafone has coverage, but can be intermittent.
