Perfect house with everything we could have wished for. Great location with excellent shop a few minutes walk away. Enjoyed excellent seafood meals from The Crofter's Kitchen down at the beach. Great location for visits to beaches - Balnakeil, Oldshoremore and Oldshorebeag. New cafe at Kinlochbervie harbour was excellent. Also enjoyed trips to Handa Island and Smoo Cave. And no midgies this week! Would love to return.
We had a fantastic stay at Roseville, it is exceptionally well appointed, warm and comfortable. The location was fantastic for a week of exploring the area. Thank you, we hope to come back soon!
Cannot speak too highly of this holiday accommodation. Recently modernised to a high standard, it was a pleasure to stay. Hygiene standards excellent. Within easy reach of hotels and restaurants if eating out is a change from using the superb kitchen. Lots of interesting places to visit, good walks through heather and beaches.
Great cottage. Very nicely renovated in a perfect location. Everything we needed was included in the cottage, and it was spotlessly clean. So many great things to do in close proximity, beaches, mountains, etc.
Having Roseville as our base for exploring the Assynt area was perfect. The house has been designed with careful thought about what visitors want for a comfortable stay. Above and beyond facilities like multiple en-suite rooms, SkyQ and the Nespresso machine were greatly appreciated. The village shop had all the provisions we needed and the hotel, although only serving their guests at the time of our visit due to COVID, seemed to have a nice bar and restaurant. Roseville offered us comfort, high standards, a super location and a real home from home. Can't recommend highly enough.
We really enjoyed our stay at this fab property. Cosy and furnished to a high standard with great equipment/facilities. The property has good access to nearby Scourie beach, local walks to the Scourie Headland and Tarbet; and further a field to nearby mountains.
We stayed here for a week in June it is a really beautiful home from home where every amenity was provided for. We all enjoyed our stay immensely and hope to return again in the future.
