Glasnock House, within the Lochcarron Estate in the Scottish Highlands, provides a stunning self-catering holiday home for up to six people.

Glasnock is a spectacular modern country home (completed in 2011 and updated in 2016).  There has been no expense spared on interior furnishings and close attention has been paid to ensure guests have a 5 star experience and a ‘home from home’ retreat. The house offers luxury accommodation for families or couples looking to get away from it all in a unique and secluded setting, with views overlooking a picturesque loch and rolling mountains.  The only neighbour is 'Shepherds Cottage' (same owner) tucked away in the trees behind Glasnock but otherwise you need to travel several miles to see another house!

If you love the outdoors and wildlife spotting Glasnock House offers the perfect location. Hills and lochs surround the house where you will see deer graze and the river flow past. Fishing for native brown trout can be done from the banks of the loch and you can walk for miles without meeting anyone.

The small village of Kishorn approximately 4 miles away has a small shop and the Kishorn Seafood bar where you will find the best local seafood imaginable, a better selection of facilities would be available in Lochcarron which is nine miles away. Further north you will find Applecross and the picturesque village of Shieldaig where you will find a small supermarket, the Coastal Kitchen Restaurant and Bar, and Nanny's Cafe. You will find many galleries and craft shops in the area. The Lochcarron Weavers and the Carron Pottery and Restaurant are both very popular, as is the North West Highlands Art Gallery in nearby Kishorn.

The property is located 1km down a private track and must be driven with care, and a 4 x 4 vehicle is preferable but not essential, except in winter conditions.

Pets Welcome

There is the porch area and also a heated garage attached to the house by the link/porch where dogs can go. Guests are asked to bring dog baskets. Dog are not allowed upstairs or in any of the bedrooms, however, are allowed in the kitchen and living room provided they are not muddy!

Private Water Supply

The water at the house is from a private supply, this is filtered and treated.

Mobile Phone Reception

Mobile phone reception is available at the property as is full broadband Wifi access.

Good Housekeeping Deposit
