Cnoc Ard
This was a 5 star holiday home excellent in every way spotless and very well maintained thanks.
Ardbeg
We enjoyed an incredible week at Ardbeg. The views are to die for, the accommodation spacious and comfortable. So peaceful. Booking arrangements very smooth, thank you Wilderness Cottages team. We feel very lucky to have stayed at Ardbeg and hope to return.

Leachachan Barn
It's a rare thing finding a cottage that ticks all of the boxes - kid and dog friendly, accessible but peaceful location, mesmerising view, open plan layout with a huge boot/drying area, warm and beautifully furnished. At Leachachan we found our ultimate Highland holiday home.
Beach Lodge
What a magical place the silence is Golden the air so fresh stars shine so bright and the wildlife are friendly. We had a weeks heat wave to boot how Lucky were we ???? we cannot wait to return to recharge our batteries again. Lucy & Rihanna our rescue staffies were worn out running on the beach day and night for them it was heaven ????. A fabulous time was had by all Thank you. Dawn,Steve & hounds (Cheshire)

Eilean Mor Cottage
We had such a lovely time in this beautiful, cosy, well equipped cottage. The views from every window were breathtaking, and we loved seeing all the bird life in the garden. The kids enjoyed the space outside too. We hope to be back.
Sixgeary
Hard to put in to words just how good Sixgeary is, as for us, it is pretty much perfect. The cottage itself is fitted out just right, great kitchen with all mod cons, comfy beds, great bathroom and cosy sitting room with log burner. Combine all of this with a location that is off the scale and you start to get close to how good Sixgeary is. Yeah, it's a bit of a hike to get to the cottage, but the peace, tranquility, the views and the sun rises are astounding! Looking to unwind? You've found the right place.

Ardbeg
The house in Gairloch was superb in every way. We have been travelling to scotland for the past 40 yearrs and mostly stayed in cottages. We have had some beautiful and comfortable places but Ardbeg out did them all. The view and the comfortable furnishing and beds. We had a most relaxing holiday. Most of the places we stayed in had a little store cupboard such as salt or perhaps a bottle of milk to welcome us but that was such a minor point. The only other properties that was of the same standard were properties owned by Anne Sutherland in Isle of Skye and Inverness. Thank you for lovely views and comfortable house.
Cala
A really fabulous property - comfortable, stylish, well appointed and warm - with fantastic views, it was a joy to wake up each morning and see the changing moods of Quinag! A lovely place in a really special part of the world.
The Stables
Loved The Stables. Well appointed, warm and comfortable. A very relaxing environment. Highly recommend

Shore Cottage
This location is quite unique and is just about on the beach on the west coast of Scotland between Stranraer and Portpatrick. In fact we never saw anyone else on the beach all week. The beach itself is mainly sand but there are some sections of rock which you need to be aware of before you venture into the sea. Shore Cottage was comfortable, cosy and clean. The furniture is in good order and the conservatory is quite spacious. It is well equipped and clean through out. This location is ideal for those who want to get away from it all, you are certainly that. My only criticism would be that the double bed was not wide enough for us and the cottage would benefit greatly from a Wifi connection.
Earth House
This is all about location, location, location. Its quite stunning with a deserted shore at your doorstep and a wonderful view over to An Teallach and Coigach. The house itself is quirky with a great view from the lounge. Once we got used to the heaters and the hot water boost it was fine. Its not the most homely place in terms of furnishings. Drying facilities are limited to a line outside and a tumble drier. The owner is very accommodating and helpful.
Ceol na Mara
Our 3rd stay at the Cottage, that sums up how amazing and special we find it, lovely cottage and beautiful area.

Upper Folds
Upper Folds far exceeded our expectations.. The cottage was immaculately clean, spacious, well equipped and furnished. It was a pleasant surprise to be provided wth the whole weeks supply of everyday items such as toilet paper! The cottage sits within a large dog proof enclosed garden for those 4 legged friends that can't be trusted with sheep (the property was surrounded by them). The location feels remote although only 10 minutes drive from Dufftown, As per the description it is accessed via an un-made track and ford (It's worth noting that there is a steep loose surfaced descent/ ascent either side of the ford which may prove a challenge in a fully laden 2 wheel drive!) . We had heavy snow on 4 of the 7 days stay, which we and the dog loved, but without a 4x4 we would certainly have been stuck! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Upper Folds and recommend to others! We will definitely be returning to the cottage and look forward to more of the excellent 'Eight Lands' Speyside Gin! Thank you!

Seascape Cottage
Most fantastic cottage, homely, well furnished and equipped. Amazing welcome pack. Open the curtains in the morning and see deer munching grass, brown hares hopping by, birds of prey circling above or stroll 2 mins to the bay and see seals. Idyllic! Thank you for a wonderful week
Charleston
Really enjoyed our first stay in this lovely cottage. Very warm and comfortable with plenty of space. Amazing views and walks from the doorstep.
Learag
What a wonderful week we had. Learag is stunning and so comfortable. We had snow which was a little surprising in April but the house was cosy all week. It's really well located for virtually everything in this area - 15 minutes to Inverness, 2 minutes to the A9 bridge over the Cromarty Firth. Highly recommended.

Beach Lodge
This was our third visit to this cottage. The location and surroundings are superb and couldn't recommend highly enough. The one thing that could be done to make the holiday even better is the interior of the cottage. Whilst it is sufficient it could do with a little updating and decorating. The sofas as mentioned in someone else's review are a little tired and uncomfortable which makes it difficult to relax at the end of the day. The booking process is very efficient and the staff are more than helpful which is a delight.

Ardbeg
Ardbeg is a superb house situated in a small Highland village. The view from the lounge and balcony is panoramic with views across Loch Gairloch. All the rooms are finished to a high specification.
Tigh-na-Craobh (The Tree House)
Despite the April weather we had a lovely, cosy time at the house. It was very well equipped and had a few essentials to get you started off (loo rolls, dishwasher tabs, logs etc), as well as a little welcome gift. Needed to use the hot water booster for 4 showers in the morning, but that was all great once we'd worked out how to use it! Beautiful area, lovely views and lots of walks nearby, with Portree easily reached for shopping and eating out.

Ardbeg
What a stunning location and a lovely holiday home to experience. Breathtaking views and incredible land and sea scapes are a constant experience from the property and the garden. Really well equipped home with all you need to relax and enjoy. Cannot recommend it highly enough
Matheson's Croft House
Very warm, cosy, great views, well located for touring Skye, comfortable and beautifully isolated. Shops are just a few miles away in Kyle of Lochalsh, close enough to get ice cream back before it melts. Loved it, and will definitely be booking for a stay here again.
Leachachan Barn
Stunningly beautiful Barn & area, we arrived on a Saturday and had rebooked for the following year by the end of Monday..it's that good!
Seascape Cottage
Our second stay at Seascape again what a fantastic place, so peaceful and breathtaking views. Sarah is a brilliant host goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Had our 2 rescue dogs with us this time and they were the happest we had ever seen them really brought them out their shells. Can't wait until our next visit.
Tor Cottage
Breath taking location with well equipped accommodation. Panoramic view from the cottage, including seascape and wildlife. Lovely hosts would highly recommend.
Shore Cottage
Superb and unique location. A minor local issue which was responded too very promptly by the local contact, Gus. Very remote and quite. Deer in the garden most mornings, dog running on the beech, waves gently crashing in. Family of Stonechats pecking the window. No internet, no phone signal like being on a desert island.Suggest a 4 wheel type vehicle a must. Would do it again!

The Challey at Heathcote
Had a wonderful stay at the Challey for 4 days in March 2022. The cottage is lovely and cosy with everything you could possibly need. It's a wildlife haven outside as others have said and I saw woodpeckers, red squirrels and the odd pheasant as well as lots of other little birds attracted by the bird feeder. Great setting close to the Speyside way and the River Spey - and I did a few runs and walks here in the evening. Good for travel to places like Findhorn, Nairn and Culbin Forest (around 45 mins). The cottage is right next door to where the owners stay but is still very private. The owner was really helpful and friendly too. I'm already looking at rebooking for May 22
Ceol na Mara
This cottage is a home from home, spotlessly clean, very well equipped, stunning location and views. A beautiful walk over to Loch Rearaig, other lovely walks in the area. Torridon, Shieldaig and Applecross all beautiful areas with plenty of walking.
Shore Cottage
Just the best location ever. Macy & Jess our two mad collies couldn't get enough of the beach at the end of the garden. We had a very relaxing time there. Loved it. Wee bit disappointed the wood burner in the conservatory had packed in but it didn't spoil our stay. Only real negative was the relentless wind which ripped along the coast 24/7 during our stay. Just had to get well wrapped up to go out. Never the less... love to go back.
Lilybank
Another great week staying at Lilybank. Many thanks for honouring our booking since early in the Pandemic - it was great to finally visit. The Cottage was as ever excellent, well equipped, spotless, cosy and warm. Great to see it maintains it's usual, excellent standards. This cottage is a great base to explore the Highlands or if you prefer to chill in the Fort Augustus area at the mouth of the river Oich, salmon fishing' walking the canal or taking in the views around Loch Ness. It's a pity the local butcher looks is closed but that looks to be the only casualty of the Pandemic. Once again many thanks - we look forward re visiting quite soon. Alan & Denise Bell
Matheson's Croft House
We had a wonderful relaxing stay in this remote but quite accessible home. Clean and tidy with everything you could need, the open fire and AGA Rayburn were excellent companions for a cosy night in.
South Lodge
We loved the location so close to the sea. The cottage was cosy from the elements and had everything we needed. Us and our two doggies had the very best of times. Binoculars are a must - lots of wildlife to see. Sadly we didn't see any Otters but hope that you do.
